Charlottetown Marine Terminal Expansion

To facilitate the berthing of cruise ships at the port of Charlottetown, a 30-m extension to the existing terminal was built, along with a 185-m ell that was added using reinforced concrete cribs. We provided complete planning and engineering services for the project, conducted a structural evaluation of existing facilities, carried out marine structure options analyses including concrete cribs, concrete crib and span and combination HZ steel sheet piling. Along with preparing design criteria, concept designs, preliminary and detailed designs, drawings and contract documents and cost estimates, we also provided tender phase services as well as construction phase services, including inspection.
